Human centered designer focused on intuitive experiences
For over a decade I have enjoyed a career in the design world. Starting out as a graphic designer, I quickly learned to appreciate all that design can offer. I aim to understand why and how something works and therefore was drawn to product design.
I bring a passion for problem solving and user centered designs to all of my projects and specialize in user research, competitive analysis, designing wireframes, and building interactive prototypes. I love to work on complex software that offers elegant solutions for all users.
I was born and raised in Colorado and have spent my whole life here. I love to experience all that Colorado has to offer when I am not doing design work. On a typical weekend you can find me out hiking, camping, golfing, playing with my dog or relaxing with friends and family.
My wife and I also love exploring National Parks and have been to over 18 Parks in the last 4 years. Our favorite trip so far was our road trip to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Glacier National Park. I am often inspired by the scenery and beauty our diverse landscape has to offer.
When I am not outside exploring, you can find me on my MacBook cranking away at designs. I love to sketch on my iPad, refine designs in Figma and bring prototypes to life.
I find the discovery phase of product design to be particularly enjoyable. Finding a solution to a problem that will truly impact a person’s life is what product design is all about. Whether it is conducting user interviews, watching session replays or analyzing competitors’ solutions, I also find it paramount to dig deep into the best possible design.
